// NOTES

What the numbers actually mean.

Symmetric speeds

Most ISPs in Dhaka give you 1/10th upload of your download. We don't. Your 500 Mbps line uploads at 500 Mbps. Always.

Local vs. international

These numbers are BDIX-local. International speeds depend on the destination — Singapore is ~28 ms, Frankfurt is ~140 ms. Our IIG uplinks are sized for peak load, not the floor.

Jitter & loss

Jitter under 1 ms and loss under 0.01% are what gaming and VoIP actually care about. We measure both every 30 seconds at every edge node.

Why your test might differ

Wi-Fi tax (~15%), older laptop NIC (~30%), browser overhead, your actual room. Plug in via Ethernet to a recent device for the real line speed.
